Information we collect
When you request a meeting, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, country, service interests and any description you choose to provide. Booking a meeting through Cal.com also involves the details you provide there and your chosen appointment time.
When you browse the website, our hosting and analytics providers process technical and usage information. This can include IP addresses, approximate location, browser and device details, pages visited, referring websites, campaign information and interactions such as opening or submitting the meeting form. We use country information supplied by our hosting provider to show regional website content and pricing.
Please avoid entering passwords, bank details, identity documents, health information or confidential client records in the website enquiry form.
How we use information
We use enquiry and booking details to respond to you, understand your business needs, arrange meetings, discuss our services and maintain a record of our communications. We use technical and usage information to operate and secure the website, understand how visitors use it and improve its content and forms.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on taking steps at your request before an engagement, our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running the website, applicable legal obligations, or consent where required. If we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier processing that was lawful.
Who receives information
Our team and the providers supporting this website receive information needed for the following activities:
- Google Forms and Google Sheets store the meeting-request details you submit.
- Our notification service forwards meeting-request details to Slack so our team can follow up. If you provide an additional description, it is included in that notification.
- Cal.com handles appointment booking when you continue to our meeting calendar.
- Vercel hosts the website and provides traffic analytics and operational services.
- Google Analytics and PostHog help us understand website traffic and interactions. Our custom PostHog meeting events use service and engagement categories rather than your name, email address, phone number, company name or enquiry description. PostHog session recording is disabled in our website configuration.
We may also disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims. External services have their own privacy policies, which explain how they handle information within their services.
International processing
Godfrey works with businesses in more than one country, and our service providers operate internationally. Information may be stored or processed outside your country, where privacy laws can differ. Applicable legal requirements govern any safeguards needed for those transfers.
Retention and security
We retain enquiry and meeting information for as long as needed to respond, manage the business relationship and meet applicable recordkeeping, dispute or legal requirements. The relevant period depends on the purpose and whether you become a client. Analytics data is also subject to the settings and retention practices of each provider.
We use measures intended to protect personal information, but no website, transmission method or storage system can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of or a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Some requests may be limited by legal obligations or the rights of others. You may also be able to complain to the relevant privacy regulator.
To make a request, contact us through the route below. We may need information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. You can ask us to stop service follow-up or marketing communications by replying to the person who contacted you.
Children’s information
This website is intended for business enquiries, not for children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us so we can review it.
